Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Interesting seat back frames. Anyone ever seen these before?
Never seen them.
Definitely not factory! VIN given is only the model number, not the full serial number.
This is my jeep, I have had it a few years. Just drive it to town for coffee or a ride around. Last year only took it out once and just had to change the gas. It went bad and don’t want to have to keep doing that if I’m not going to drive it so decide to sell it. Have a great hard top for it but the doors aren’t factory. The rest of the number on the firewall is 17470 don’t know if that’s what you are looking for. Thanks. Dennis
Thanks Dennis! That second part of the VIN plants it within the 1960 production time frame. http://www.public.asu.edu/~grover/willys/serial.html
Are the doors sliders? Based on the windshield, it looks like the top that would fit the body would have the sliders.
– Dave
The doors should be sliders but someone put metal doors with vinyl tops that come off and on. So you can leave the doors on without the top window parts.
I just got off the phone with Dennis and in that conversation we recalled that he and I had discussed his Jeep back in 2011 when he bought it, so I had it already in our database. It has the original frame under it, with the numbers matching the serial number plate, so it has CJ3A running gear under it. It is the delivery body, but the sliding doors were gone when he got it. Hoping to be able to keep track of it once Dennis sells it.
