UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $8000
This should have a slat grille. It’s a mix of parts.
“This was the first year of the Jeep .Only 1,550 made in 1941 . This jeep served in WWII in the European theater. This jeep was restored and some parts have been updated..The motor ,trans, transfer case and Axles have been rebuilt in the last 3 years .Trailer is missing the landing leg.”
This appears to have a civilian body, but MB undercarriage and power train, post war engine, early AC air cleaner.
Also something doesn’t quite look right with the placement of the ID tag on the front frame along with the bumper and the way it’s bolted, can’t see any gussets, maybe just the pics.
Shouldn’t the gun mount base be round?
Too bad it’s a cj2a body tub….
To me the chassis looks 2A as ell. Bumper fixings on front are2A. MB chassis did not have the front mounted bolts.
Definitely a 2A body As previously stated.
another ewillys franken jeep
CJ2A windshield also…
Hey but that’s a Convert Dump Trailer, very hard to find.
He says the motorpool on the SD base installed a 46 tailgate on it. Looks more like they put a war time grill on a CJ2A.
