“Moving to Thailand, must sell my collection.
This is one of my favorites. Live at the beach and drive every day. This car attracts more attention than 100k cars that frequent the streets.
Buick V-6, power steering and automatic transmission make cruising a laid back art form.
Will miss this car much, it has been very dear to me. Give it a loving home. Low ballers save your breath!”
Bases on that left rear plate this looks like the Jeepster at Moto-Art studios. Moto-Art makes AMAZING creations from old aircraft parts, highly polished and finished, like desks and other furniture… truly works of art. I’ve been to their shop in Maryland and taken pics at their shop in El Segundo (with this beautiful Jeepster in at least one picture I took). I hope it finds a good home.
“Based”… not “Bases”: fat fingers this morning.
That logo is on the center of the steering wheel as well.
According to my Jeepster VIN database, this Jeepster was for sale in January, 2011 out of Tiffin, OH, and had been a Shriner car, painted red with the right side damaged. Looks like it survived and I hope it finds a good home. Many mods, but looks well done.
