Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Just tuned , starts runs, converted to 12 volt, new exhaust, has newer top, has all the side curtians with clear plastic. paint is very dull but could be wet sanded and buffed, still needs a lil TLC, but worth the effort.”

My son photographed this Jeepster in 2014 in Goodyear Arizona and was told by the guy who professed to own it, that it had come out of Yuma, AZ. It is listed as being for sale out of Carbondale, IL and on Dave’s site, it is in Champaign, IL, a couple hundred miles away. If someone wanted to buy this Jeepster, it has a set of 1963 Studebaker Avanti hubcaps on it that are probably worth almost as much as the Jeepster! I have no knowledge as to the condition of this Jeepster, but the photos don’t look much different that the ones my son took in 2014. Prior to 2014, this Jeepster was previously unknown to me.
Friends of mine looked at this and decided to pass. I have not seen it myself but it looks clean in the photos.
