Brian, that was my perception, too.
Def not a 47 as they would have had the flat earlier nose and fenders .I have a chopped roof 47 wood truck that’s still got its Flat Head motor and column shift . Maybe a mid 50s but not a 56 . I like the door cutouts ,gives it a WW2 command car look .Almost looks like its sitting on a modern 4×4 frame with those rims and big lift . V6 is cool but the automatic has to go
this could be sitting on a m-37 chassis, if the budd wheels and the front diffy are any indication
It looks like a 50-52 Jeep truck minus doors and roof, but with the remainder of the cab and front fenders mounted on a M37 Dodge chassis, at least thats what the front axle and wheels look like. The chassis may be titled as a 47 Dodge, but the cab sure isn’t.
