Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “I have a 1946 Willy jeep for sale. This truck runs and drives great, but has no breaks. It has a standard four cylinder. The jeep is absolutely cool for anyone into old cars OR military memorabilia, being the jeep was most likely used in world war 2 looking at it’s year made. ”
Looks like it might be an M38. Even if it was a 46, wouldn’t have been used in WW2 since it ended in 45.

Agree on both accounts. I now see I didn’t take a proper look at the other photo on Craigslist. There you can clearly see the battery box lid. Thanks!
