UPDATE: Price dropped to $2600. It’s a column shift with tool indents.
“My husband kept this Willys Jeep around for many years in hopes of one day getting around to restoring it. Unfortunately, he recently passed away and never got the opportunity. We are clearing out some items of the estate and have decided to list this for sale.
Absolutely perfect for restoration project!!
Jeep is in running condition!!
Body lines are straight!
Includes original back seat!
Includes ALL original soft top pieces!!.”
i wish i could make out the serial number on dash , this looks like it could be a late 1945 or very early 46.
Sure does, you can see the column shift stuff still on the column.
Don’t know about $6500 though.
Its a 1946, between s/n 15304 and 21xxx (+/- 500).
Engine is NOT original, 1950’s replacement.
No full floater rear diff. Not 1945 but early 46.
Holy moly, look at that winch. That’s really something. To bad that old timer never got to finish it.
the dash tag with serial # is the first version. Although the rear end isn’t a full floater I still think there is a good possibility it’s a 1945.
Good point Peter. I forgot to check that out.

The “Willys” dash tag lasted thru Feb. ’46
The windshield is ’46
The axle is ’46+
The engine is ’50+
Owner says it’s a ’46
Nothing specific to indicate a ’45.
