UPDATE: **Status Unknown** Was $11,496.
(08/28/2015) Looks good.
“Fantastic Willys wagon, California Surf Mobile. Very Desireable, very driveable, very cool Willys Wagon. 305 V8, Automatic transmission, radio CD player.
This is a wonderful Calfornia Willys that gets attention every time you drive it. Kids, Adults, and even Seniors all love this car.
Because it has a 305 V8 rather than the stock 4 Cylinder engine it is fine on the Freeway. Quite simply it’s fun car to drive.
If you have a business it’s a great draw to get folks into your shop or restaurant. For additional information give me a call. I’m in Mystic Ct.”
It’s a Parkway Conversion Conversion!
What V-8 engine does it have?
Bill- If it has a 305, that would be a small block Chevy, 305 cubic inches(mid 70s to late 80s in 2 wheel drive Chevy cars and pickups.), hopefully it has a Turbo 350 trans behind it. Owner doesn’t say if the front suspension has been upgraded from the original Planadyne it came with. It isn’t a bad price and easier to get in and out of than your Surrey was!!! And faster! LOL!!
Spoke to seller: Mustang II front suspension.
I love that deep maroon color.
Pretty good price and with the upgraded power and Mustang II suspension, it should be a great car to drive!
Is this vehicle still for sale? Have you had any offers at this point. I am interested in purchasing if it’s still available.
Hi Dennis,
I haven’t seen this listed in a month or two. I’ve updated the post. If I do see it relisted on Craigslist, I will drop you a note.

I bought it 7/17/2020 from the Guy who bought it in 2017 It has a 350/ 350 and a 9 ” ford rear , it sat for 3 years and only drove a couple of times, it sat outside the whole time and paint and body got messed up. I put a new fuel pump in it, and it fired right up and runs real smooth. Did all new brakes as they locked up in the driveway in the process of stripping the body down to bare metal as i drive it. They really like filler in Cal,as some places it’s 1/2 ” in thick ( no body hammer) all an all nice truck
Thanks for the update Paul! Sounds like it’s been a bit of an adventure, but glad you are enjoying it!
