Looks like a ren1 or ren2 roll bar. This jeep deserves a better color.
It’s closer to a Ren 2 roll bar, but lacks the “hump point” in the center. It’s missing a few things but looks solid. Cool top…

Hey Mark, 1970 cj5 Renegade 1 or 1971 cj5 Renegade 2. Other than the elusive 462, these are the first jeeps to have a factory roll bar. And there is a difference from the 1 to the 2, mostly where the diagonals meet the horizontal.

Just a screen name I always use……airplane structures engineer by trade and have been keeping fish for years. Jeeps in mixed in as well.
Right on. There is a guy in Sandpoint here that books it over to the coast 2 or 3 times a week bringing back fresh seafood to sell. Heck of a business he’s built. It’s called “the flying fish”…thanks!
