UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
It’s got rusted front floors, but from the outside looks pretty good. Needs wiring and brakes, too.
“1954 Willys M38A1. Runs good. Still 24V and has two new batteries. Correct engine. Solid frame, nice restorable tub, correct front fenders, new repro gas tank. Five correct wheels. Correct front seats. Has rusted through front floors. Needs wiring and brakes. The jeep is sold as is, where is, with no warranty.”
Dave, You’ve seen this one personally along with his several other projects in waiting when we visited Joe’s shop on your Breakfast Club Tour here in Smithfield, Maine. Whatever Joe tells you about this, you can take it to the bank. He has shown military vehicles at the highest levels —-AND WON!!!
aha! I didn’t realize it was that Joe. I admit I don’t remember that particular M-38A1, but I saw a lot of jeeps on that trip!
