I have the articles from the Jeep Unity magazines that have a centerfold announcing that Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard were officially named the “Jeep Islands” by Willys.

It also shows Jeeps towing Sand surfer.

Two comments- 1) The ranger that patrols the beaches does NOT find it amusing when you do this. He will pull your sand permit. 2) If the Jeep driver tries to upshift, the Drag of the sand stops the Jeep abruptly. You stumble ahead of the board. When the Jeep starts up again in the next higher gear, the sand board hits yo in the back of the legs. It DOES LEAVE A MARK.

Hmm, sand surfing…Love it. Keith, is that really what you are building that 3b project for?

Did you notice there is still a top bow sticking out of that jeep?

I think that you will find the top bow is what the tow ropes are looped over,If you hook the ropes on the trailer hitch it is too low and submarines the tip of the board into the sand, How do I know…
