UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $7500
(05/31/2014) It runs and drives, but needs some work.
“THIS IS A TRUE 1948 WILLY’S-OVERLAND JEEPSTER. THIS VEHICLE HAS A ‘GO-DEVIL’ 4-CYLINDER ENGINE WITH A REBUILT CYLINDER-HEAD, A 3-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION WITH OVERDRIVE AND A NEW CLUTCH. IT HAS A REBUILT STARTER. IT IS ALL THERE AND IN GOOD SHAPE, BUT NEEDS ‘TLC’. THE CANVAS TOP IS IN GOOD SHAPE. I HAVE THE ‘SIDE CURTAINS’ BUT THEY COULD STAND TO BE REDONE. VEHICLE HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO 12-VOLT. VEHICLE HAS BEEN INDOORS ALL OF IT’S LIFE. WHEN I FOUND IT, IT WAS SITTING ON BLOCKS AND ENGINE WAS DISASSEMBLED. IT NOW RUNS AND DRIVES. I HAVE TOO MANY PROJECTS AND NEVER SEEM TO BE ABLE TO GET BACK TO THIS ONE. THE HUSBAND SAY’S “IT’S TIME TO LET IT GO”, SO I’M GIVING SOMEONE ELSE THE OPPORTUNITY. IT IS CURRENTLY ‘NON-OPED’. YOU CAN VIEW HER ON SATURDAY, SUNDAY OR MONDAY’S IN SACRAMENTO. $7500.00 OR O.B.O. “
Here she is, a California First Edition Jeepster, near I-80 and looking good. Now Runs and ready to make it better. I see a BLack CA Plate, a droopy door handle, wiring issues, looks usable bumpers, mechanical upgrades, and stock front 60/40 seats. If I needed another Jeepster, I’d be all over this!!
Is this jeepsters still for sale? I am very interested.
Joe, this is likely available, but the listing has expired. We’ll have to wait for it to reappear on Craigslist.
