“!945 Ford GPW Jeep. Willis and Ford made identical jeeps for the army in 1942-1945. This vehicle underwent a frame off restoration and finished in army green gloss in 2000. All of the receipts are available as well a link to some of the restoration on video below:

The numbers match and body sequence is correct. The Jeep was manufactured in Ford’s Louisville plant in May 1945 and believed to have been used at Cory Navel Base in Pensacola and later sold to the West Virginia Highway Dept.”
Nice jeep. I saw this sell a year or two ago for around $12,500. One of a few with gloss paint.
