“For sale is a 1950 Jeep Willys truck with a snow plow and clear title. Registration was active until this spring and it has been used yearly for snow plowing. It runs and drives well, has a 72 horse power F motor with has a 3 speed with high/low 4 wheel drive. This Jeep started out as a farm implement and at some point in time it had the frame and body modified to accept the truck bed. The interior sports VW bucket seats. It will need brake work(currently very little brakes), exhaust, tires(have tread but very weather checked), has a bad spot on the ring gear, the windschield is cracked and it has rust. There are many directions that you could go with it from continueing to use it as a unique plow truck to making a 1 of a kind rat rod. It is being sold as is, needing repairs or for parts.”
I just bought this for my restoration shop, my staff and fiancee and I fell in love with this nicely crafted “odd duck”. I will put together pictures when we get some items redone on it (brakes, fenders, bedsides, tires.) The cab enclosure is made from a 1920s or 30s panelvan rear door area. This truckette was built by a service station that bought it in 1950, it was in the same family up to this past year.
