UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $900
“1942-1944 Willy’s MB Jeep. This is a military MB model Jeep. Has newer F head engine, not running but did run. Has original military transmission and transfer case, and front and rear axles. Hood has been modified for F head engine. Minimal rust on body. Three original 16″ wheels and also one original combat wheel.
NO TITLE!”
Looks like a cheap start to a project if you have a title
Bob, at that price even if you didn’t already have a title you could buy this and then then start shopping for a title!
If this jeep were back East it would be 3 or 4 times that price AND probably be a total rust bucket, and you’d be lucky to get it.
Notice the leftover parts from the M48 dashboard mount. You see the support arm, glovebox plate and cut glovebox door.
Hi can the Seller of this jeep please contact me ,I now own this great jeep at the moment it’s getting restored ,I would like a bit more history on it if possible please
Andy thanks for pointing that M48 mount out I though buba had cut that like he did the bonnet
Thanks
Sorry forgot to say the jeep now lives in a place called Fort William in Scotland in the UK
Hi John,
I’m happy to hear it is getting restored! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it once it is finished.
Wittmann, Arizona, is a very small town. It’s likely the seller doesn’t read eWillys, but you never know! Unfortunately, I don’t have any contact info other than the craigslist ad for that particular ad.
Have you checked the serial number against the online MB databases?
– Dave
Hi could you please forward me the Cregslisting I might get some more info out of that ,my email is johnsrs@aol.com
Thanks for your help John
John,
I don’t have the old link anymore. And, if I did, it would only go to a Craigslist error page. The craigslist ads expire in one-two weeks in major metropolitan areas and, generally, a month in non metropolitan areas.
