I called about this one a week ago. The guy is taking offers. He said he sold one for $10,000 a month so think he is proud of it. I asked what his name was he said people called him “The Devil”. To me no jeep is worth making a deal with the devil for it. Lol!!

If you check the other ads he has running, most of his old cars are priced from $2500.-$4000. Looks like he is cleaning out an old junk yard that has been untouched for years. Wish I was closer looks like it would be an interesting place to visit.

It’s a mix of early and late GPW parts. Late windshield with rifle brackets, but early tombstone fender blackout light, and early small-mouth driver seat. But these are bolt-on pieces. The tub is at least an early 43 due to the ribs behind the toolbox lids. My November 42 GPW has brass Caution and Shift plates, but a steel center plate, which this 44 GPW has. Sure way to find its year is to ask the seller for the serial number. He might be asking $175 based on the graffiti. π
