UPDATE:Was on eBay. **SOLD**
(12/29/2013) This no glovebox slat grille has potential.
“This Jeep is being sold as a parts jeep or a solid restoration candidate.
It is a early Willys Slat Grill jeep.
Original data plates
Serial Number 103390 on data plate
Date of is 12-11-41
Frame tag is painted over but I suggest it matches the data plate
Engine number is MB113681
I hate to see this parted out because it would make an EXCELLENT frame off restoration project.
The frame is solid, the fenders and hood are good also.
The “Willys Script “tub needs new sheet metal in many areas but is actually very straight. Previous owner cut out most of all the bad areas already.
The windshield is good but is a victim over alot of overspray, which probably saved it.
T 84 Transmission is also early type, filler on pass side. I can not verify if it is ford or willys.
Comes with four combat rims
Located in Santa Rosa, Calif
Serious bidders please consider coming to see it in person.
Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements.
Sold as is where is.”
Hi, is this still for sale? E-mail me at gpw1942@nep.net
Hi Dave,
I haven’t seen this relisted in a while. If it does get relisted, I”ll drop you a note.

Hi
I purchased and am restoring this old Slatgrill. Unfortunately the mentioned original data plates are missing :((
I would be hugely grateful if I could reunite these with the Jeep if anyone knows where they are.

Hi Duncan,
If you have the original serial number for the jeep, you might check at the G503 page. Or, check this https://sn.g503.com database to see if someone else has the plates. I’m sorry to hear that the data plates are missing. It also looks like this could have had a reconditioning plate (http://www.ewillys.com/2019/02/12/jeep-reconditioning-programs/) on it as well.
Other than those ideas, I’m not sure how to locate those plates.

It’s so sad someone removed the plates, sacrilege. Will just be sat in a draw somewhere. Yes David it has indeed got 4 holes in the dash which I also assumed was for a rebuild plate.
