“This is a 1951 willys pickup that I bought approximately 5 years ago and have been working on it ever since. It runs great and absolutely no problems. It is a blast to drive but do not have to sell but just seeing the kind of offers I can get. Here is a list of the things that have been done to it. These are just the things that I can list off the top of my head and I am sure that I have missed a few things.

Body: All body work was done a Maaco and has a 5yr warranty. They have done an exceptional job. The bed has also been lined. The fenders have welting between body lines to prevent paint cracking in the future and the complete underside was painted along with the frame when it was completely taken apart for frame off restoration.

Glass: New front and back glass was cut and placed with new gaskets. The back glass was also tinted. New window channels have also been placed.

Frame: The body was completely taken off and the frame was sandblasted. The frame was boxed for strength and it was painted with epoxy paint. The rear leaf springs were rebent and new leaf springs were made by rancho for the front. The shocks are also rancho. Tubular bumpers were also made and the rear has a 2in receiver hitch.

Engine: The 302 ford small block was bored 20 over and the crank was turned along with checking the rods and balancing the rotating assembly. An RV cam by lunati was placed and the heads are the E7 ford heads with new valves and edelbrock .550 lift valve springs. Roller rockers were placed and the intake is an aluminum RPM edelbrock with a 650 edelbrock carb. The ignition has a MSD 6-AL with billet MSD distributor and ford 8.8mm wires. The exhaust is stainless shorty headers to 2.5″ duals with 22″ glasspacks that give it a nice low rumble. A serpentine belt setup was used along with a new alternator, waterpump, and powersteering pump with warranties from advance auto parts. The radiator is an aluminum 3 row with a 16in electric fan.

Transmission: The transmission is an AOD that has been completely rebuilt with new clutches and a B&M shift kit. The overdrive of this transmission allows for easy cruising down the road escpecially when it shifts into overdrive.

Transfer Case: The BorgWarner 1356 manual shift from an F350 that had all the bearing replaced. The driveshafts are also brand new along with new u-joints.

Front Axle: The Dana 44 high pinion was complete disassembled and rebuilt with Timken bearings and a spool. Superwinch locking hubs were also placed and the gears are 5.13 which is also for easy driving on the 37″ tires. New calipers, rotors and pads were also placed. The steering assembly was also custom made with DOM tubing and the steering stabilizer is from rancho also.

Rear Axle: The ford 9in was also rebuilt with Timken bearings and a Detroit locker with 5.13 gears was also placed. The complete brake mechanism was also replaced.

Brake system: The pedal, booster and master cylinder are from a newer Camaro as this fit the best. Alloy brake lines were also custom made and new stainless braided brake lines placed.

Fuel system: The jaz fuel cell is a 16gallon along with a holley blue fuel pump. The fuel line is a ½” stainless steel.

Wheels/Tires: Are in great shape as the wheels are brand new and the tires have about 75% tread left. The goodyear MTRs are size 37×12.5r15. There is also a full size spare with matching wheel that rides in the back.

Interior: The seat is a middle seat from a new tahoe and seat belts are 4point harnesses. The steering column is an Ididit kit and completely chrome. The kickpanels and door panels were also custom made. A new metal glove box was also made.

Electrical: A new painless wiring kit was used with a new fuse box. The jeep speedometer cluster is new and all the gauges work accurately. A tachometer and oil pressure gauge was also put into the dash. A new battery sits under the passenger seat and has a battery cutoff switch. The CD player is above the steering wheel and has an MP3 input. The CB is a cobra 29 with great reception from the fiberglass whip on the toolbox. The CB also has a PA speaker under the front bumper.
