No obvious signs of rust.
“The Jeep has been worked on and runs and drives well. Four wheel drive, 4 cylinder Jeep. It does need a little work, the fuel gauge needs to be replaced. A little rust on the body. The Jeep really only needs a little TLC.”
On the engine compartment photo, how is the ground visible through the firewall, kind of like a window to another world?
Often, headers fill part of that space. Otherwise, that area is often open. The fenders only extend backwards so far, while the firewall cuts backward.
One of the things I vividly remember from dad’s jeep is being able to see the ground through a couple small holes in the floor. I was always fascinated by those ‘windows’.
