UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $26,000
“1955 Willy’s Wagon restored as a 1951. If the pictures look good to you send me and email and I will get in contact with my father, he can tell you about it better than I can on a Craig’s list post. We also have a second engine that could be purchased if you would like a backup.”
That’s a sweet wagon but for that much coin one might expect chromed bumpers.
Maybe they are nickeled and dimed? Looks like there are some other less-than-showroom-ready features as well… underseat door is missing, steering wheel is kinda crummy and no horn button, the tailgate upper doesn’t close well, don’t see door handles, where’s the passenger seat?
I have seen alot of wagons and trucks for sale lately in the $20,000 range, are they really getting those prices?
Occasionally. Most prices dip and most sellers don’t have the clientele (or the jeep) to support those high prices.
That said, generally prices on the nicer vehicles continue to slowly climb since the lows of 2009-2011.
