UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $7500
(12/03/2013) I see nothing to indicate it’s earlier than 1947, but it does look good.
“This is a 1948, not a 1945 as my add previously stated. I made a mistake when originally posting..
All original drive train. Has overdrive. Mechanically perfect, needs nothing.”
The radiator shroud looks different.
Besides the shroud, the outlet should be angled inward. Also notice the position of the outlet elbow on the engine. It appears further back on the head and looks as though it only has two mounting bolts. Hmmmmmmmm.
have a similar engine that i removed from a 53 pickup (2 bolt thermostat outlet, set back on engine)…based on serial #, it was from a ’39 willys car.
