Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (11/27/2013) The seller doesn’t mention in, but I’m wondering if this is unrestored?
“1944 Willy’s Military Jeep 4×4 free of rust and dents. Paint finish in good condition. The interior has the original canvas seats with roof canvas inside curtains. Under carriage and suspension also in good condition.”
Either unrestored or heavily used. I tear my 1941 down every five years or so but use it alot on my farm, running around town and for living history. Folks always say it’s so neat to see an original Jeep with such a patina of age and then I explain that nope, that’s just what happens when you use them like they are supposed to be 🙂

Looks like a “survivor” to me… Nice patina… But price is a bit high.
