Lee Balterman (1920-2012)
Lee Balterman was an American photographer best known for his photographs portraying the city and people of Chicago. After briefly studying drawing and painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Balterman enlisted in the US Army Reserves and was stationed in England and France, where he worked as a hospital aide and later an an official photographer. After his discharge in 1947, he returned to Chicago, where he opened his studio and worked on assignments for publications such as Life, Time, Sports Illustrated and Fortune magazines. He died in Chicago in 2012.”
Defenitely a DJ3, see the fixed windscreen, they took the top off for their summer fishing trip and who wouldn’t !!
