(10/24/2013) Fat Herbie Tires? Those are new to me. This looks like a project.
“I have a very rare and hard to find (at a decent price)1953 Willy jeep ,the motor has been rebuilt, transfer case rebuilt , and transmission has been rebuilt , it needs a carburetor ,and a top , the frame from front to back is solid , its like bran new !!tires are good and I have 4 more tires that go with it”
his other ad from the Mansfield, OH CL is slightly more ambitious…..
1953 Willy s jeep , rebuilt motor , tranny , and transfere case , needs a top and carburetor , this is worth 13,000 as it sits , at mint condition they are worth 39,000 ! the frame is like bran new , can talk about the price. call 419-951-6020.if no answer leave message and I will call you back , if you rather text , the text number is 419-577-2974.
Fat Herbies are the opposite of Skinny Minnies.
$13,000 as it sits? Oh my.

Are they really worth $39,000? This one looks like an OK starting point, but has some serious body rack…look at the way the tailgate sits on the body.
1500 maybe
