UPDATE:  **SOLD** Was $12,000

“The 1967 Willies CJ-6 jeep was only manufactured for the military and civilian law enforcement. This particular jeep was the Los Angeles County California Search and Rescue vehicle. Very limited use, mostly in parades and such with only 42,000 original miles. This jeep is in excellent original condition with minor upgrades, like law enforcements electrical package. No tears in the seats and no body rust. Features one of the best off road tire packages. Cooper Discover STT, M&S, 32X11.50 R 15LT, Load Range C and Ultra custom wheels. Paid $4,000 for the tire & wheel package alone and they have maybe 200 miles on them. Have the original tires and wheels, which will go with the jeep. Hard to find original PTO wench and the virtually indestructible 4 cylinder motor, new exhaust. Runs great. Been parked for the last few years, so I’ll throw in a new battery. This is truly a very rare collectable. $12,000 Located in Boise, Idaho.”

Not buying the story about the CJ-6 only available to the military or law enforcement. They just were not that popular here in the states.

$4,000 for the wheels and tires????

Somehow I missed that first sentence or I would have remarked about its silliness. All the CJ-6 brochures that I own advertising it to the public would counter the seller’s argument.

The only CJ that I know of dedicated to a military purpose was the CJV-35U. I believe all other jeeps with a CJ labels were available to the public.

Note to self: Don’t buy wheels and/or tires in Boise Idaho… or ask this f-tard a question and expect truth. I’d take that hard top off his hands though.
