Buz spotted these two photos from HAMB. The photos were taken by Jack Brands. I tried to identify this European FC van, but didn’t have any luck. Anyone know? Ambulance maybe?

If it’s from Sweden it ca be one of few made by the swedish importer built as a test car for the Swedish defence. Volvo did take the order with Valpen….

If I were a bettin’ man I’d say Swiss. It’s different than most that I’ve seen from overseas but does look like a cowl and chassis configuration model. The others I’ve seen like that served duty with Fire Departments across Switzerland. A rare bird indeed!

Where in the world is it located? Would be neat to know at least that much…
Hope someone is able to rescue it and get it back on the road again!

It’s 99 % that it is a swedish car. The other cars are typical swedish, the Volvo 140-240 in background and the truck far right is a Volvo or Scania. Then the registration plates that You can se on the Ford Taunus Cupe looks really swedish.
I have a norwegian frend, Even Erlien that have one of them. I think it’s published on eWillys.

It does look like it is in a lot better condition than my 1964 FC M-679 Ambulance van was in. It has some similarities to my 1948 Willys Urban Panel Delivery, like the front windows and the shape of the roof, only it is a lot smaller.
