(08/31/2009) It’s got some brake problems and sounds like a project.

“II have a 51 Willys. I have owned it for around 4 years and just have not got around to fixing it up like I would like. It has been under cover the whole time I have owned it to save it from the rust. I started on cleaning up the body, I grinded it down to metal on most parts and and sprayed rust fix and primer on it to help it. The inside has mostly surface rust but the floor board on the driver side will need replaced at some point. I put new intake mainifold, valve covers, fuel pump, and rebuilt the carb. The picture I have does not have the carb on the engine, but it is on now. I have an extra hood and fender. It does have stock axles under it.
