Where’s the oil filter? Does anyone know if there was a time in 1942 when a GPW wouldn’t have had the canister oil filter mounted off the right front of the block? …and if so, where did they put it instead?
Looks great and all but the glove compartment seems not to be there either along with data plates.
Joe, all of the WW2 Jeeps by Willys and Ford came with the oil canister.
Looks like a reproduction slat grill tub on a GPW frame.
Thanks, Dexter! I just got one, with bracket and all, for my own 42 and suddenly was concerned that some might not have had it.
