UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2900
(07/26/2013) It runs and drives.
“this jeep has an overhead cam engine from a cj3b with around 3000 miles on it. Transmission gears, bearings and syncros, clutch, brakes, master cylinder and hubs have been gone through. Tub has been sanded then rhino lined. The only downfall is there is no top on it. Great summer vehicle or purchase the soft top online. Has been garaged for the last 30+ years. 2900 is a firm price.”
Hi guys, is that passenger seat original for a CJ3A? Is it the same as some other models? If someone has one, could you measure the width of the frame at the front mounts please?
Thank you
John
It looks like there are some comparison measurements between a 2A seat and a 3A seat here:

If that doesn’t work, ask the guys over at the 3A Page. They ought to be able to get some measurements for you: http://www.cj3apage.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl

Thank you Dave, You’re like a walking jeep encyclopedia. That is exactly what I needed.

John,
I don’t know if I’m all that smart, but I am pretty saavy with Google 🙂

This jeep was listed about a year ago, I think he started at about $4200…ended up in the low 2’s. I don’t know if it ever changed hands.
There is a hole in the dash where there used to be a stereo and a 5 X 7 or so oval speaker….
