Marc spotted this photo that was sold on eBay yesterday. What’s interesting is that the there’s a CJ-3B followed by a M-38A1. I wasn’t aware they lined up jeeps at the assembly plant like that.

That does seem strange that they would mix them like that, I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t seen the picture.
From a running gear and process standpoint there is not that much of a difference between the two.
