UPDATE: **SOLD** Was on eBay

It’s not often you see a three pronged plug outlet in a jeep’s engine compartment.

“Here is a very nicely set up classic Jeep. It has a smooth running Chevy throttle body fuel injected 305/350 V8 engine, with a five speed Borg-Warner manual gearbox; it also has power steering. The engine starts easily every time, and idles smoothly and sounds nice. The engine setup has its’ computer/diagnosis plug-in mounted under the dash. There is a idle/throttle control lever attached to the shifter and there is a sticker on the dash that says Warn “all range” Overdrive. The transmission bolts directly to the transfer case, so I’m assuming that it has a GM transfer case……possibly an older K-5 blazer. A note in the Jeep says it has a AMC 20-456G rear end, (other #s on the note say 41-9 F5G). It has a custom built radiator w/heavy duty aluminum shroud, dual exhausts with long tube headers (surprisingly quiet for such a basic/short exhaust system). The Jeep has Willwood front disc brakes with a manual proportioning/adjustment valve just by the drivers’ seat (see pic). The front axles have manual locking hubs, they say Superwinch.L”

It’s interesting how the windshield is raised slightly above the cowl so a filler strip was needed between the windshield base and the cowl surface. This filler strip looks good from the outside but the inside looks kind of rough.

Now that you say it, the windshield pivot points appear mounted slightly higher than normal.

That’s a good looking Jeep, the kind of thing I would like to have to take out on the beach, but the more I study the photos the more concerns I have about it’s construction. Not the knid of thing you feel comfortable buying off eBay, it’s something that needs to be put on a lift and checked carefully before buying.

Weird that it doesn’t have the “Fresno” windshield. Anyone know what the plug outlet is for?
