Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
There are plenty of interesting, unusual, historic and surprising stories related to Jeeps and their owners. In addition, some of these features have nothing to do with jeeps. This link will display all featured stories starting from the latest.
Looking for parts and not sure where to go? There are a variety of large and small new and used parts sellers both online and offline.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Well yesterdayI looked at this Jeep for possible parts. After looking at the body, I felt as if mine was just delivered to me from the factory brand new. The 3B has a decent dash, front cowl, decent windshield, firewall, front grille and salvageable hood.
The engine turns over and appears to have good compression. Frame is great as is running gear.
It has an alternator already in it and converted to 12V
It has four 16 in rims that I really needed for mine 2A.
The dash looks okay and the steering column and gearbox I need for mine as well. Seat frames are in good condition.
The bed is a heavy liner droped in the rusty one with a roll cage welded to it and it has broken off. I fear if this was ever driven again that one good bump and the tub would completely fall off the frame. It is titled as well.
So parts will be used to keep other jeeps on the road but the body (90%) is just too far gone.
Oh, I did purchase it for conisderably less and have some good parts for my 46 CJ2A I am coverting to an MB Clone.
Thanks Eric. Sounds like you’ll make good use of it. I’ll update it.

How much will be left? Frame? Drivetrain?
Well..yes the drivetrain, two great seat frames, dash and cowl, firewall, grill, hood, gauges, electrics, oil bath air cleaner, windshield, wiper motors…yep a couple of things. 🙂
I wasn’t clear: do you have plans for things like the engine and frame?
Okay, yes I do. The frame on my 46 CJ is messed up on the front due to the plow and will need new front frame pieces (available). The 3A frame is stronger and has the F-head (more HP). I plan to use the frame off the 3A with my 2A body. That will leave me with a 2A chassis, trans, motor and axels. These I will probably sell once I get a running setup.
