This looks pretty good for the price.
“This is a 1952 M38 Willys (Korean war) Jeep. It has a 4cyl willys motor that runs just fine. It does need the canvas top and rear seat, and needs the origional steering wheel. The pictures show the vehicle quite well. This vehicle has some good history behind it. I will include the shop and parts manuals, both in hard copy. I will also include some Korean War field equipment (see photo). Bumper markings are (2nd Infantry Division that was in Korea in 1952. Please no tire kickers, or offering to trade. I am not in a hurry to sell and would like to sell it to someone who will complete the restoration with pride. It is a great jeep for parades and special events.”

Whats up with that steering wheel?
The steering wheel is only one of a laundry list of items that are wrong, I guess it’s too hard to ask for help in doing one right?
he does say that it needs the restoration to be completed, and that it needs to have the original steering wheel. so far it looks well on it’s way to being correct. don’t be so hard on the guy.
Looks good to me, steering wheels are cheap. I wonder if Buz spoke to the owner about the laundry? Hmmmmm.
Hey Buz, I’m a newby to the restoration of jeeps. I’ve spent a bit of time looking at the pictures and outside the steering wheel what else is incorrect. Just trying to train my eye.
Thanks, Lyle
