nice truck. may be worth it if it was completly original and someone wanted this truck. might be worth 15 to me. maybe 10. but these trucks, like the willys jeeps, have very little leg room so go bigger guys, i would say 6′ and taller, thery are uncomfortable to drive.
I’ve known this truck for many years. He used to drive it to work every day before rebuilding everything. It’s very nice, because it started out very nice. It had an excellent original turquoise and white color scheme. It ran great. He pulled the Tornado 2-230 engine because it leaked all over *the place and put in a V-8. The engine and T-90 was bought by someone across the continent in Florida. Then he had this truck professionally built with many changes. (I prefer original vehicles, so I’m careful not to call them upgrades. LOL)
The firewall was not cut out for this conversion. The Willys Cabs with an OHC six cylinder came with a larger firewall indent, which is convenient for re-powering with a Chevy V-8 with the distributor in the back.
It’s too rich for my blood, but if you want one of the best rust-free bodies, and you want to spend some money on a Willys Pickup, this is the truck’s for you.
I personally like this dark green color on Wagons and Pickups. But I also liked the two-tone turquoise color scheme it used to have.
