UPDATE: Back on eBay
(11/25/2012) The seller provides a variety of details on the rebuild.
“This Jeep has been carefully rebuilt from the ground up over 3 years by my father, a retired certified ASEA mechanic. Starting from a sandblasted frame, new-off-shelf (N.O.S) parts were used whenever possible. Every piece has been carefully rebuilt and reassembled – you won’t find a cleaner, or more authentic rebuild of a 1947 Willy’s. Lots of fun to take off-road, or cruise around town with the windshield down. See below for details on each component.”
For an authentic rebuild it has at least the wrong grille, wrong wheels and tires, wrong paint, wrong seat covers, wrong license plate bracket, no top bow brackets, no spare tire, wrong tail lights, bumperettes, rear license plate bracket, roll bar, etc.
Authentic?…haha…haha…haha…haha….haha….
