I am offering for sale a nice 1946 Willys CJ-2A.It has always been inside. Has both choke and throttle cables. Has dual heaters,( left & right side ) Floor boards front and rear have been plated and painted when jeep was painted. Tool box under right seat is clean and not rusty as most are .Underside is not rusted out . the transfer case seeps gear oil at seals as most do at this age ,but doesn’t run out.
I replaced the speedometer after it broke and it shows 18 miles .I am sure it has high miles so I am saying in excess of mechanical limits. Transmission has high /low range . 6 volt generator has been replaced with alternator and is now a 12 volt system. it has a good older style horn. (VERY LOUD ) Tires are not new and some weather checking but have good tread and stay aired up. Please remember this is a 1946 Willys not a late model Wrangler. It will most likely continue to go up ,not down in value. Needs transmission oil (GL1) Would make a awesome farm Jeep or hunting jeep.
recently replaced items:
choke cable
throttle cable
carburetor
hoses
clutch
oil pan seal
intake
exhaust manifold
exhaust system
This is for sale here locally and i reserve the right to end listing if it sells locally. buyer is responsible for pick up or delivery.
