The seller probably used “Jeep” in the generic lowercase sense of the word.
Years ago, when I was a member of the Society of Professional Journalists (when that was still a well regarded profession 🙂 ), Jeep would run ads to remind journalists that “Jeep” was a trademark, and not to used to describe any 4×4.
They used certain phrases (at the behest of their attorneys, no doubt) in the ads.
IIRC, to keep a trade mark from falling into open, use a firm has to show that it has taken steps to protect the
copyright…so such ads would be admissible for that.
Hopefully, the seller added some small jeep part somewhere. It would seem appropriate given the jeep theme of this rig.
