Bill shared these two “water/flood damaged” jeeps. I suspect this was from the recent hurricanes. Neither jeep has been assigned to a specific auction yet, so no bidding can be done.

Okay, call me a naive optimist…
but without plastics, computers, carpet or (much) electrics…how bad can the MB be? 🙂
I just hate to see it make it all these decade only to get scrapped because of floodwater.
John,
MB is likely fine. Worst case scenario (in my mind) would be the need to drain the axles, transmission, transfercase, and engine of grease/oil/water and refill.
The CJ2-A has a capstan winch on it also. Looks nice but windshield frame looks bent. Minor problem. Wish I was a lot closer!
1944 MB is a repro tub. Running gear looks CJ. Maybe nothing there actually decades old MB?
Regardless, it’s still a nice Jeep and deserves a better fate than the crusher.
