“16,251 Willy’s Jeep FC-150’s built between 1957 and 1965. This recent restomod is a 1957 cab and bed on a 1959 wide track frame with reproduction fiberglass rear fenders, a Dana 44 front and rear and a Dana Spicer transfer case using a Novak adapter.
Additional components include a Willy’s 4” lift, locking rear differential, manual locking hubs, and front disc brakes with a Wilwood master brake cylinder.
The powerplant is a rebuilt Vortex 4.3L V6 with a Crane ca shaft, an Edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor with a chrome air cleaner.
The Automatic transmission is a three speed TH400 with B & M floor shifters. Additionally, it has a remote tilting cab mechanism with hydraulic rams for easy access to the engine.
Other additions include all new tinted glass, new wiring harness with 12V fuse box, new electric heater and wiper motor, new instument gauges, a new three spoke steering wheel, reupholstered original seats, floor mats, chromed original front bumper, front fiberglass fender flares, refurbished original gas tank with chrome straps, a new wood slat and chrome bed, 15″ U.S. Wheel chrome wheels with new 31 X 10.5 Definite M/T tires.
