Here’s an interesting build. The wood work looks well done.

“1955 Willys Pickup customized from Willys Jeep Station Wagon, 1978 Corvette 327, 1982 GMC S10 Chassis, & T5 Transmission
This unique vehicle combines the classic charm of a ‘55 Willys with the beauty of a woody wagon, and powered by a completely rebuilt 327 engine.
The concept and work has been done by a lifelong craftsman and classic car restorer/enthusiast. This project took careful planning and hundreds of meticulous hours, over a span of eight years.
The maker has aged beyond his physical amplitude and desire to complete his beloved project, so he has decided to pass it on. If you want to know the quality of his work, one of his previous restoration was a 1928 Ford model A and we can send you more info.
This is a special opportunity for someone who wants to really turn heads, whether at a car show, parade, showroom, or driving around town.
Engine:
Chevy 327, fully rebuilt by Johnson Automotive Machine, Medford, Oregon.

1955 Willys pick up cab, primered inside and out for finish paint.

Woody is real wood, two kinds of marine-grade plywood (one dark, one light), finely sanded and coated in several layers of polyurethane.

No rust, full frame-off process, and the vehicle has been kept indoors/covered throughout the restoration process.

T5, manual five-speed transmission. History: “one of the muscle car world’s most enduring success stories, the T5 was originally built by Borg-Warner, and pulled duty in vehicles built by Detroit’s most important ’80s and ’90s muscle cars, as well as a long list of 4x4s, vans, SUVs, sports coupes, and even trucks during its nearly 30 years on the market.” (drivingline.com)

To me, this is a work of art, a labor of love, creativity of one’s mind brought to reality. It’s un- fortunate that the general public does not recognize it as such, the bargain price reflects this fact. GLITZ & GLAMOR command high prices, the material world we live in.
As for myself, I would much rather own this unique vehicle in a way, to honor it’s creator.
