UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $17,500.

This is a nice looking Jeepster Convertible. It might need some mechanical work.

“My father moved and I was left with some vehicles including this really fun jeepster, my grandfather was the 2nd owner in 1969 and it’s been in the family ever since, sad to see it go but I just don’t have the passion/ time and need to find its next owner on its journey! It starts and runs, the brakes and clutch need some work (mechanic friend took a quick peek at it) it’s cover has some wear and would probably need to be replaced , there is one missing panel I have been trying to locate through the move but without luck . One of the windows has trouble going up and down. Just an old but loved car and no one in my family has the time/experience to work on it!

No seatbelts , I see it being a great vehicle for a cabin, small town, ice cream run vehicle. I’d love to find someone that knows these hard to find vehicles and give it the love it deserves !”

I’ve always liked these second generation Jeepsters, they didn’t try as hard to be “cute” as the originals.
I like the idea of a CJ-5 with a bit more room and civility.

And someone here pointed out awhile back that you could put a CJ-5 grille and hood on one to improve the looks and get rid of the chubby cheek look.
