“A VERY rare, complete 1967 Jeep “Jeepster” Commando, four wheel drive…even more rare by virtue of the intact factory convertible top, factory continental kit, and 3-speed automatic transmission. It has been speculated that this might be the last living example of this combination of “Jeepster”.
Overall in very good condition–body and chrome bumpers are dent free in excellent condition…all glass, including light lenses are intact…convertible top including rear window are intact…Michelin street tires are in good condition…all Jeep branding medallions are in place including on chrome hubcaps…all interior is in original and very good condition.
This “Jeepster” was the featured vehicle in the SF Chronicle Bay Area Driver’s Guide Cars weekly article, (see included pics). This vehicle was lovingly owned, driven, and cared for by the owner in the Chronicle article, who unfortunately passed away, leaving behind this unique car, his favorite in his collection…the vehicle is now available for the first time in over 30 years. She is a rare beauty example of this tremendously enjoyable and highly collectible special vehicle.
Price: Please note, this vehicle is priced to sell, in as-is condition, offered at $18,500 or best offer. (The recent market range for comparable Jeeps is $11,000 in rough condition, to as high as $64K fully restored and enhanced–hard to believe, but true).”
