Blaine forwarded the auction results of this GPW, which hit $22k. While it has incorrect limbs, the sale did include some combat rims.

Seems a bit high if it is a repro tub.
I just received the latest History in Motion and there are classified ads in there for three flat fenders:
A nice restored ’44 MB “Recently rebuilt with all original parts”..$21,000.
Another ’44 MB with a fresh restoration, but with a GPW engine (which I’d assume is incorrect, but who knows what that would do to the value?) $26,500.
Finally, a ’42 GPW recent rebuild with ” “F” marked parts. USMC paint. Comes with two machine guns: $32,000.

It seems any nice MB/GPW is a $20k vehicle, but if there is a choice between an original and a re-tub for the same price, I’d take the original…all things being equal.
