I have never seen that type of garage lighting before, seems to do the job. Anybody familiar with this set up?
Mark,
I haven’t seen this lighting either. I found this: https://hexagongarage.com/products/led-hexagon-garage-lights?

Thanks Dave, looks a little pricey for me, maybe when I build my “dream ” garage. I don’t know much about LED lighting, I assume each section is replaceable and not sure how long they last.
All you have to do is buy 4 foot light fixtures, use the math you learned in geometry class and build your own for maybe the same price or up to 4 times the price.
Mark, I installed LED lights in my shop early last year and they are great! The are brighter, used less power, and turn on instantly, unlike the fluorescents I had. It made a big different. I used these 8 ft replacements “5400 Lumens – 42 Watt – 4000 Kelvin – 8 ft. LED T8 Tube Lamp – Type B Ballast Bypass ” from https://www.1000bulbs.com.
I also installed some 4ft stand-alone, modular LED lights in my small shop. The have plugs on either end, so they can be strung together, and possibly could be formed into a honeycomb. These are what I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q49DNGS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 .. for my purposes, which is temporary, they were easy to install and worked great.
