interesting. there is an idaho statute barring the use of the SMV triangle on vehicles subject to registration (jeeps). had one on the spare fuel can on the m38 and got an earful from LEO at the gas station one day. i pulled the center orange triangle and now if asked it’s not a SMV placard but a 101st insignia..
Many people use those signs to mark mailboxes, driveways, gates and other stationary objects that is actually illegal in many areas.
