Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This has potential. The stock hardtop and Koenig (?) bed extension look in good shape. The 0-8 King Seeley speedometer still has its needle, too.

I don’t think I have seen a CJ-5 with a hardtop and a bed extender, it makes for an interesting look. I wonder if it was installed as an option when the jeep was delivered. I guess the next step would be to extend the hardtop over the bed extender. I think it is a good price for an original 1955.
