UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3500.
It’s project that likely won’t be for sale much longer …
“George is a 1942 Ford GPW that will be your next project. He deserves to be brought back to life and not the storage unit he has become.
Turns over, but is not running.
Battery is two years old.
Fresh oil change two years ago.
Fuel tank was professionally cleaned and resealed by Auburn Servicenter Radiator.
Not pictured: two hoods, windshield frame, seat cushions and spare wheel
Garaged for the past 23 years.
Title in hand and registered through 1/10/2024.”
You’re right…won’t last long for that price! Not ‘hacked up’ or ‘bubbafied’….early script Ford, nice straight, uncut rear panel and dash, seat frames, grill, engine bay, etc. Excellent start to a project….price should be higher. Wish it was near me!
You don’t have to post this comment, but there have been a lot of scammers entering this hobby…Often they use email or messages (no phone numbers provided) and they request a down payment to ‘hold’ the jeep (which they don’t have)…Please beware if an ad looks too good to be true…
Craig/V … Thanks. I’ve been seeing more folks on FB comment about scammers on Facebook, especially folks newly added to FB groups. Agreed, buyer beware!
