Scam? Or a good deal?

“1945 Ford GPW Historic WW2 Military Vehicle. Most systems rebuilt, replaced or restored. Matching numbers. Been in garage a decade. Has been converted to 12v.”
A matching numbers GPW, in what appears to be good condition, at this price is too good to be true. If this was in the northeast I(and a host of others) would be all over it
Awfully good price…
If it seems too good to be true…
Then again, maybe some widow or disinterested child is looking at an old price guide.
Still one could hope.
About 5 years ago there was Jeep similar this one that was less than 10 minute from me, that belonged to a friend of my dad’s, that I was an hour late on calling. It sold for only $1500. I called the late owner’s son as he was at the bank receiving the funds from someone in California.
It looked like a scam but I recognized the houses in the background and knew the CL poster. You never know until you check. Just be aware.
