“1942 Ford GPW Jeep.
If you are look for a run around Jeep, OK. If you are looking for a quality restoration project, this Jeep is a disaster. It is sad the abuse inflicted on this early script Ford. Roll bar runs through the floor and is welded to the frame. The body was re-skinned. I cannot determine how much of the body is original or its condition. Drivers seat was extended two inches. Look over the pictures carefully. More pictures at:
1944 MB/ 42GPW (imageevent.com)
On the good side: The engine spins freely be hand. It has the early scalloped axles. Early windshield hold down, Ford Script, and other F marks.
In addition, included will be the two windshield frames, hood and one combat wheel.”
You are right that this Jeep is in sad condition. I feel for it. Would you consider selling the spare tire mount from it. If so, how much and then I’ll add some extra to cover shipping costs via UPS. If I weren’t in Wisconsin, I’d come to get the whole thing so I could put it out of its misery.

Hi Frank,
It look like this one must have sold on eBay, as it is no longer there. I’ve updated the post.
