UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $700.
If in good condition, it’s an okay price, but if worn, it will cost more to buy it and have it repaired than buying a new one from Herm.
“This came with a project, but I’m doing a powertrain swap, so I won’t be using it. It is a part so you can inspect, and then put it back together, or have Herm in Oregon rebuild it for you.”
Post deleted, looks like the overdrive market is good.
I am surprised it sold quickly at that price. Maybe it was in great shape?
I have owned and rebuilt several over the years (I actually have a NOS Warn 29 tooth, 6 spline OD complete in the original box) and have found many used ones are not in the best of shape and as you said Dave, parts are very costly. I do believe I see a PTO adapter for the overdrive in the box, that may have helped the sale. The PTO adapter has been available new from Herm in the past.
Will, good catch! I missed the PTO adapter.
